M2 Tessera LED Processor
Tessera LED processing is a state-of-the-art, vendor-agnostic system designed to fulfil the needs of high-profile events, television and top-end installations. Tessera has power to support even the most demanding productions, combining robust, reliable operation with ease of use.The system consists of a Tessera processor and LED panels which have been fitted with Tessera panel controller cards. Our cards are available in similar form factors to those from other manufacturers. As such they are easy for panel manufacturers to integrate into their designs and can potentially be retrofitted into existing panel stock. We assist our partners with integrating our technology to ensure they reap the full rewards of Tessera processing. The processor communicates with the panels using the proprietary Tessera protocol, which is built on standards-compliant Gigabit Ethernet technology. Conventional Gigabit Ethernet cabling can therefore be used, and off-the-shelf equipment and networking techniques can be applied, for example for fibre extensions or to add redundancy. User-friendly Tessera management software provides a powerful interface for controlling all aspects of the system. This can either be run remotely on a Windows or Mac computer connected to the processor over a network, or locally on the processor by connecting a keyboard, mouse and monitor.
