Toronto Men's Fashion Week (TOM*) aims to showcase the best in established and emerging Canadian menswear designers. The week itself is designed to showcase the breadth of Canadian fashion talent, from the world’s most innovative emerging menswear brands to the most iconic and established menswear designers.
Apex Sound & Light has been involved in its third season with TOM*, supplying audio, visual, and lighting production to this iconic event.
For lighting the fashion-show's runway, Apex selected the Rosco Braq Cube for its low power consumption to output performance and its wide range in variable colour temperature. For coloured lighting and motion, the show features both Elation and Martin intelligent fixtures.
Three (3) large video displays were implemented. The main behind the runway using an array of XVision 6mm LED displays and two Christie projection displays for the audiences to the left and right.
For sound, the audio is mixed using Avid consoles then distributed through d&b audiotechnik amps and speaker arrays.
